Massage FAQ

Is this service covered by insurance?

A few plans offer to pay for the therapy. When we check your benefits, we will let you know if the service is covered.

Should I do anything in particular after my massage?

Drink plenty of water, which can help flush out waste and prevent soreness the following day. And for those first few hours following a massage, avoid caffeine and alcohol, which are dehydrating. It’s also a good idea to rest if possible, or at least avoid strenuous activity.

How does this therapy help my chiropractic care?

Massage helps keep the muscles loose, which decreases the stress in the muscles. The therapy can also allow the body to respond faster to chiropractic adjustments and maintain alignment for longer periods.

Our highly skilled and experienced massage therapists are available to reduce trigger points to allow the muscles to work better. They also focus on myofascial work and lymph massage.
